Thrifty website and booking engine
THE CHALLENGE
We have been responsible for the Thrifty Car Rental website for over 12 years now, including the management and maintenance of their complex booking engine and integration with their backend systems, as well as on-going UX, design, development and maintenance work.So we were honoured to be approached by Thrifty and NRMA to completely revamp the Thrifty website, including migrating it to Sitecore.
THE SOLUTION
This ambitious, Agile project was a huge undertaking that ran over a 9-month period and involved placing a team of 5 FTEs on-site at NRMA for the duration of the project.We undertook a full redesign and development of the website, which is fully responsive, as well as implementing the extensive migration from the Open Text CMS to Sitecore.
THE RESULTS
Since launch, the site has over-performed on a number of primary KPIs, including an increase in conversion rate and order value across all devices.https://www.thrifty.com.au
