THE CHALLENGE

PING was approached by Laminex Australia to establish the hosting of their new Sitecore CMS platform on Laminex’s Azure subscription. The core objective was to integrate their services with their internal systems - and so enable content authors to add and edit content more easily.

THE SOLUTION

PING worked with the internal IT Team at Laminex to setup and govern releases across the new platform - and to ensure the smooth on-going operation of the service. PING was engaged to oversee the finalisation of the development and the release of the platform, overseeing two other parties.

PING was further engaged to complete the project which had been sub-optimally delivered by third parties – and assisted with the migration of content to the new site (through both automated and manual processes).

After the site was live, PING was invited to work with the marketing team in updating content and assisting with marketing campaigns. PING also assisted in the on-going management of the site until an internal decision was made to move across to the SAP Hybris platform. PING were again engaged to facilitate the migration of all site content across to a middleware platform so that the content could be imported into the new Hybris system – a task that could have taken well over 2 man-months if it was manually migrated.

PING has continued to manage the content in Hybris across the Australian & New Zealand sites and work closely with their localised marketing teams and campaigns.
